She woke up shortly after they had left, in her drugged state she had managed to get up and wander out, coaxing someone, the man in black, to give her a ride home. She didn't remember ever getting out of his car, but she woke up in her bed a few hours later. There was a glass of water sitting next to the bed on the night stand, she happily drank it. Before she pulled herself out of bed to get dressed. Everything still fresh in her mind, she sat down at the dinning room table and wrote, what ever came to her mind, by the time she was done the letter was tear stained and she was shaking so bad. She knew what she had to do, she would go take the title of Master. She put the letter in the envelope and called a taxi, asking it to take her to Wayne Manor. It did so, and she sat at the gate for a long time before she slipped in and knocked on the door. She was let in by Alfred who looked rather confused to see her, he lead her to where Bruce was sitting and she cleared her throat, Alfred left the two alone.
“Bruce...look, you win...I'm leaving....but before I go...please...take care of him...give him this.” She said holding out the letter. “You can read it if you want...I-I'm sorry that I've caused so much heartache.” She said, he took the letter and looked at her, nodding a bit. “I-I'm going to go now....Bruce...thank you for taking me home last night.”
“How?”
“Your eyes. Thank you, don't worry you won't see me again...I promise...be good to him, like I couldn't, love him like I couldn't...please.”
She turned and left the room, she moved with such grace, but Bruce saw the heartache, her movements were so sad, so sorrowful, he wanted to say something but couldn't. Once she was gone he took out the letter and read it. He must have read it 10 times, no 100. There it all was, all her emotions, her confessions, the words held such passion, such depression. She was just as confused as He was, She loved Joker so much, and here Bruce was telling Joker that she was horrible, He was the Joker to Joker's Rachel.
What had he done? Yes he loved Joker...he thought, but from her letter it appeared that she loved him so much more. The way she worded things so carefree so full of life and passion. Where Joker needed Batman, he also needed Adianna. But she was leaving. Because of him, He shook a bit. It wasn't suppose to end like this, Adi was suppose to be a horrible person, but she wasn't. Because of his own mixed feelings he destroyed something that he couldn't give to Joker. Adi could, but – No it couldn't be too late, he would have to stop her. But he knew she was already gone. He shoved the letter into one of his drawers, no he couldn't give Joker that. He felt his eyes sting a little, her letter played through his mind, the memories of Rachel, and Dent. He shook a little and looked to the ceiling.
He had to fix this, or try too. He messed up something so pure, and now he felt so horrible, maybe they could all come to an agreement.
