She had woken up with a silent cry, she felt next to her, Joker wasn't there. She shivered a bit, not opening her eyes, the sheets felt different, she wasn't home, she panicked. She kept herself deadly silent as she opened her eyes looking around the dark room, she slipped out of the bed and moved to the window looking out, she remembered where she was now. She needed air, she would go take a walk. She quietly made her way down stairs, she slipped out the door and into the cold night's air. Her eyes looking around, as she made a note of the streets. It was like Gotham, but so much different. She walked for what felt like ever before she felt something slam into her from behind, she tumbled down, flipping the person off of her and standing back up, the other stood up too. Owlman. She growled, she felt something sharp cut into her ribs, he had thrown his equivalent of a 'batrang' at her. She hissed and pulled it out of her skin, she at least now had a weapon. "So nice of you to supply me with something to kick your ass with birdboy." She growled, and rushed him, but his fist clashing against her Jaw sent her back, she rolled to avoid a second attack. She got back up and suddenly her moves were fluid as she danced around him, cutting his cheek open with the makeshift knife. He didn't like that, in one movement he caught her arm and grabbed her throat, sending her into the closest wall. She made a gasping sound and snarled. "Harder." she said in a growl, normally that would make someone back off, but Owlman obliged, and she sent a kick into his side. She happily danced away from him. "What...can't even keep your hands on me...funny because usually people can't keep their hands off of me."
She was met again, with a punch to the side, she felt the gauntlet's sharp part grind into her side, she made a pained sound, causing Owlman to smirk, but in a movement she was wrapped around him as she found herself in a piggyback position, though it didn't last long, when she stabbed the makeshift knife downwards, at his face he flipped her, she landed on her back on the ground hard. She felt a searing pain in her body, as his fists connected against her body, she started to feel numb. Apparently her not fighting back angred him more, and with another solid punch to the chest and throat area the pressure on her body was gone, she lay there for forever gasping for air, and started to cough up a nice red life giving substance, before it finally returned to normal. She hadn't had an ass beating like that in forever. While she couldn't say the beat down part was fun, the rest of it was, next time she would be ready. The cold air felt so good against her now in pain body, she knew she should move, but she didn't know if she could, luckily nothing was broken, she may have fractured something in her wrist, She was pretty positive she would have bruises all over her chest and torso. If only she had been in her Nobody uniform, she could have stood a fighting chance, but alas thin fabric did very little against armor gauntlets and sharp objects. Her ribs were throbing, and throat hurt, she was suprised she wasn't dead, a punch like that, had it been in the right spot could have killed her. Fuck she was just cheating death left and right it seemed. She slowly moved sitting up , her jaw hurt, fuck she should have said not the face. At least she wouldn't have a black eye. She slowly and quietly made her way back to the house, save Owlman come to try and finish the job.
She made it back and had to sit down, she brushed her hand against her ribs, no none were broken, well save for the one that had started to properly heal from the previous fights. She groaned lightly, as she could just feel the bruising start to happen, how the fuck was she suppose to explain this, she didn't want Joker to think she was weak, so she wouldn't say a damn word about it, she would just find something with a turleneck and long sleeves. So that is exactly what she did, she started off again, finding a small little house off the way, she broke into it and found the bedroom, no one was home, so that was good, it wasn't like she was stealing anything, just clothing. She found a grey turtle neck longseelved shirt, it was big on her so it ended up almost being a dress. She moved to the next room, finding a pair of smaller jeans, she slipped them on, and took a pair of sneakers. Before she wandered into the bathroom, ripping it apart to find concealer, to put on her now bruising jaw and neck. Once the bruise was toned down she left returning back to Jokester's apartment quietly finding her way to the couch she sat down and sighed, trying to ignore her body screaming at her with pain, she had to pretend she didn't just get a beat down.
